This is a Step by Step on how to do all keys lost on a 2023 Ford F-150, keyed ignition, without an active alarm. I am using a VCM Lite with a Bluetooth connection my Ipad. I have wifi internet from my van. and an active subscritions to the Ford DiagNow App.
Here is my pre-setup
- Ford VCM Lite plugged into the OBD II port
- Ipad on wifi and Bluetooth on
- No Active alarm in the case
- Key cut and in the ignition in the on position
Launch Ford DiagNow app and Sign in
Note: This is the same login as your FordMotorCraft.com login
Click Sign in
Scroll Down and hit Accept
Left of the VIN box – hit READ VIN
Tap on VCM-Lite to connect to the vcm bluetooth
This will connect the device
VIN should pop up in the window. Then click GO in the bottom right.
This will scan the car.
After the car scans, on the left click TOOLBOX
Then Click PATS
Ignition is still on. Click Continue bottom left

Login with LSID/VSP and Authy
Checking your NASFT
4 keys is the max number of keys, Before I program key I check to make sure there are not too many keys already
Click Count Keys
Click OK
This truck only has 2 key so we can program a 3rd. If you delete all key you must program 2 key minimum before the truck will start.
Click Continue to go back to add a key
This will not ask for NASTF again
Click Program Keys
Unprogrammed key in the Ignition still, in the on position
Not a 10 minute wait, took like 30 secs. then the door locks – Lock, Unlock automatically
Key in now porgrammed, I porgrammed a flip key remote. the buttons to lock and unlock the doors also program at the same time.
